Terms of Service - Microsoft API Integration

1. Introduction
By using the Microsoft API integration within our legal document management system, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. This integration allows users to save emails from Microsoft Exchange to our document management system via direct login through Microsoft Graph and the Outlook Add-in.
2. User Responsibility
- Users must log in using only their own Microsoft 365 credentials. Unauthorized use or sharing of credentials is strictly prohibited.
- Users are responsible for selecting the appropriate legal file when saving emails.
- Automated email saving (via subject reference recognition) is provided for convenience. If an incorrect reference is used, it is the user’s responsibility to correct the saved email location.
- We do not input or modify references in the system. Users must ensure their references are accurate and up to date.
3. Accuracy and Data Integrity
- Users must verify that emails are saved to the correct matter or client file.
- Regular saving and validation of email records is the responsibility of the user.
- We are not liable for any incorrect file associations or data loss resulting from user actions or omissions.
4. System Availability
- We strive to maintain system availability; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Users acknowledge that Microsoft API access and Outlook Add-in functionality may be subject to changes beyond our control.
5. Security and Access
- Users must ensure they have valid Microsoft 365 credentials to access the integration.
- It is the user's responsibility to secure their Microsoft login credentials.
- Unauthorized access or misuse of the integration may result in account suspension.
6. Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
- Users must comply with all relevant legal and ethical obligations when saving emails.
- Any misuse of the integration for unauthorized or unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitations of Liability
- We do not accept liability for any errors or data inconsistencies caused by user actions, incorrect references, or failure to verify saved emails.
- We are not responsible for Microsoft service outages or API restrictions that may impact functionality.
8. Verification and Microsoft Partnership
We are a verified Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) member, ensuring compliance with Microsoft’s integration and security standards.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the integration signifies acceptance of any changes.
10. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the integration for any user who violates these Terms of Service.
- We may discontinue the integration or modify its features at any time without liability.
