The number one reason Australian law firms contact us is a LEAP renewal notice. The price has gone up. The contract is another three years. And you are wondering if there is a better way. There is.
These are the conversations we have every week. If any of this sounds familiar, keep reading.
No spin. Just the facts that matter to Australian law firms.

When LEAP blocked bulk document extraction from their cloud platform, Australian law firms had no way to get their own files out. Law Support Australia built the first document extractor in the industry to solve it — and then made it available to everyone.
Verified users on Capterra have reported that LEAP limits exports to 100 files at a time, and that larger extractions attract a fee (one user cited around $4,000). LEAP’s own published response states that data extraction is the firm’s responsibility under its terms. For a practice with thousands of documents built up over years, leaving LEAP was not just a software decision. It was a logistical nightmare with no solution. Until we built one.
Law Support Australia created the first bulk document extraction tool in the Australian legal software market. It allowed firms to retrieve every document, every matter, every file — cleanly and completely.
We then made that tool available across the industry. FilePro consultants use it. SILQ Infinity consultants use it. ActionStep consultants use it. We did not keep it proprietary — because we believed Australian law firms deserved to own their own data, regardless of which platform they were leaving.
In 26 years working across legal software platforms, and over a decade helping Australian law firms get their own data out of LEAP, we have found LEAP the most difficult platform for a firm to retrieve its complete historic data from.
Your data is yours. It always has been. LEAP made it difficult to act on that. We made it simple.
Three things Law App does that LEAP simply cannot.

I have spoken to hundreds of Australian law firms about their LEAP renewal. The pattern is consistent — the price has gone up, the contract is another three years, and the firm feels like they have no choice. You do have a choice. A conversation with me is free, takes about 20 minutes, and I will tell you honestly whether Law App is the right fit for your firm. No pressure. No three-year commitment required just to have the conversation.
Read the renewal notice. Do the maths. Then have one conversation before you sign. That is all we ask.
